Politico Mistakes State Flag for Union Flag, Idiocy Ensues
Oh, wow. That’s pretty rich:
Politico reporter Donovan Slack thought that this Wisconsin state flag was, in fact, a union flag, and that furthermore Barack Obama’s choice to stand under this union flag in Wisconsin made it “very clear what side” he’s on. Whoops.
Yeah, whoops.

Huh. So, maybe some Republicans don’t want Newt to win? Seems like a stretch, but this is currently the top spot on DrudgeReport.com tonight: “INSIDER: GINGRICH REPEATEDLY INSULTED REAGAN”
Nicely done:
NEVER EVER RAISE TAXES (*unless they are payroll taxes)
MARRIAGE IS SACRED (*unless Newt needs another divorce)
BIG GOVT IS BAD (*except the military part)
GET GOV’T OFF OUR BACKS (*and into our uteruses)
DEFEND THE FAMILY (*unless they’re illegal immigrants)
BE CIVIL (*unless you’re Rush or Ann Coulter)
Danny Sullivan Has Words for Rick Santorum | Campaign Trail - Advertising Age
Interesting! Rick Santorum can fix his Google problem himself: post more relevant content more often than that “other” site:
One of the problems Santorum has had in ranking tops for a search on just his last name is that until relatively recently, he didn’t maintain a dedicated website about himself, a place independent of his elected office where those who wanted to know about Rick Santorum could discover more. His campaign website has helped, but by dropping the web site and pointing everything over to the donation form, it’s as if the Santorum campaign has taken all the “votes” its earned over the past few months and tossed them all away.

Ka-boom. I had no idea this existed.

Well, I suppose “Cholly” would have been a better choice? Nah.
Senator Robert F. Kennedy and the Fearsome Foursome of the Los Angeles Rams football team (1968) by Bill Eppridge.
This photo is just so bad-ass. Amazing. I highly recommend you read the post that accompanies this photo (and others) by Eppridge on Wired.com. An exerpt:
Bill Eppridge knows the rules of photography have changed. The ways of the ’60s, when he was a staff photographer at LIFE magazine, are long gone: Staff photo positions are near extinct, everyone with an iPhone now claims to be a photographer and film seems to be a four-letter word of antiquity.
Indeed.

This is important, watch it! Re-blog!
Seriously? What how what?
“I don’t think it requires us to go negative in the sense of us running a bunch of ads that are false, or character assassinations,” Obama said, as reported by Univision.”It will be based on facts.”
“We may just run clips of the Republican debates verbatim,” he added.
Well, dang.
Holy crazy-eyes, Batman!
oh my god. this is wonderful
I f*cking love the internet!
YES
Perfection.
Obama for America: Hi, Tumblr.
“Pass along jokes, particularly if they’re funny.”
Well then! Obama launches a Tumblr. I like this development.
Watch this. This sounds correct to me. A little dramatic w/ the background music, sure. But it’s likely the basic root of our problems here in America right now. Hm. Thoughts?
