Is making a Mitt Romney coffee mug disrespectful? Today, I’ll be posting my Obama coffee mug for Mugshot Monday — it seemed like good timing with the DNC starting up. I DID look for a Mitt Romney coffee mug for the RNC, but couldn’t find a good one. But now my friend Amy reminded me that Mormons do not drink coffee for religious reasons! This law is known as the “Word of Wisdom”: In addition to emphasizing the benefits of proper eating and physical and spiritual health, God has spoken against the use of: Tobacco. Alcohol. Coffee and tea. Illegal drugs. I do eventually want to do a Romney Mugshot Monday, but now I’m thinking it would be disrespectful? It’d be like making an Obama cigarette lighter, perhaps? What do you think?
