Mugshot Monday - “Common Roots” no-logo mug with Roots Blend by Peace Coffee
I’ve never had coffee in the morning at Common Roots before. I usually head there for dinner and a beer from their fantastic collection of tap brew. But I might have to make a habit of hanging out there in the morning. The sun is pouring in and the place just has a great vibe. There’s some great artwork on the walls by Bart Vargas (see background of my mugshot).
Unfortunately, Common Roots does not serve their coffee in coffee mugs with their logo on it anymore — I was looking forward to the shot. I really like their logo and I bet it looks dynamite on a mug.
I almost asked for a mugful of one of the many brews they have on tap. But I settled for the Roots Blend which was quite nice. But just look at this line of what’s on tap, omg.
I may have to go back tonight.
